The Journal of Educational Guidance, founded in 1987, has been published without interruptions, on a semiannual basis (July - December), and belongs to the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Playa Ancha University of Educational Sciences, Valparaíso, Chile. Its mission is to collect and disseminate scientific information derived from research in the field of Educational, Vocational and Labor Guidance, as well as from the Social Sciences that contribute to strengthening and optimizing the guidance function in educational organizations. It is primarily aimed at an academic, national and international public; it constitutes an updated and multi-thematic resource that can be used in professional development and in university training in various areas and levels. It is published in electronic format in the months of July and December of each year.
