Implementation of Local Public Education Services and their Impact on Language Teaching

Abstract
This article examines the functioning and implementation of the Local Services of the New Chilean Public Education, as well as its impact on the school admission process this year. Likewise, the current orientation of language teaching and intercultural education is addressed, highlighting its relevance to promote comprehensive pedagogical practices. Strategies, techniques and suggestions are presented aimed at revitalizing the habit of reading in the classroom, considered a fundamental component for comprehensive education. Finally, the contribution of positive pedagogy is introduced as a model that favors a more serene, healthy and profitable education, aimed at reducing tensions and strengthening well-being in school contexts.
