La Nueva Revista del Pacífico, founded in 1964, is affiliated to the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación (Valparaíso, Chile). It appears regularly twice a year (July-December).
The Journal has a wide range of topics within the framework of literary and linguistic studies, covering research from various theoretical and methodological perspectives on national and foreign writers and literary works, and on language in its different representations. In this context, it is open to all researchers, from public or private, Chilean or foreign universities, and welcomes unpublished works on literature and linguistics written in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Submissions for future issues of the Nueva Revista del Pacífico will be open between Monday, July 21 and Friday, August 22, 2025.
Manuscripts should be sent to nuevarevistadelpacifico@upla.cl.
